Barber Shop: The Next Cut #BarberShopTheNextCut

Ice Cube and Cedric The Entertainer are back on the screen as you favorite trash talking barbers in Barber Shop: The Next Cut. This time around we find  Angie and Calvin (Ice Cube) have set aside their differences during the economic downturn and went into business together. It may have cut down on operating expenses, but it sure didn't cut down on the drama.

When the violence gets out of control in the neighborhood, the crew at Calvin's takes a stand to save their community.  Historically the African American barber shop has been a place where brothers bonded, watched sports, talked trash, picked up condoms and even received spiritual advice. The barber shop is a place in the community where social justice takes place and where knowledge is passed from one generation to the next. Not only did Calvin keep the traditions going, but adjusted accordingly for the new day and age.

Barber Shop: The Next Cut is rated PG-13 mainly for the language and is playing in theaters now.
